Summer Sounds, Curated Brews and Exciting Bar Bites
QuarryGirl, Tony Dart’s Away, Nic Adler and Goldenvoice announce the full lineup of musical acts, craft breweries, and plant-based eateries participating in the 6th annual Los Angeles Vegan Beer& Food Festival taking place May 16th and relocating for the first time to the infield at Pasadena’s famed Rose Bowl. Headlined by Jamestown Revival and The White Buffalo, the one-day celebration toasts the region’s finest beer makers, bands, and thoughtfully-sourced restaurants. Guests will enjoy pours from over 65 breweries and 40 food vendors while relaxing in the picturesque Southern California weather.
The 21+ event will provide guests a limited edition Los Angeles Vegan Beer & Food Festival glass to enjoy unlimited pours of over 100+ different beers including special styles with Tony Yanow, owner of one of Los Angeles’ most notable craft beer bars and event curator noting “We are excited to welcome back many of the brewers that have been with us since the event’s inception including Firestone Walker, Oscar Blues, and Ballast Point. We are also excited to welcome some new entrants like Three Weaves and Bells. As usual, Golden Road will be releasing the festival favorite Almond Milk Stout – No Whey Dude!” Restaurants such as Mudhen Tavern, M Cafe, Donut Friend, and last year fan-favorites Doomie’s (returning with their lauded Big Mac) and the Grilled Cheese Truck will serve delicious vegan-friendly dishes to complement the brews that push the boundary on conscious bar food and aim to “showcase the very best vegan cuisine that Los Angeles can offer, including high-end restaurant pop-ups alongside food trucks and bakery stalls,” remarked QuarryGirl. As guests enjoy the suds and fare, they’ll be serenaded by the additional sounds of The Drowning Men, Miner, Petty Cash, Joel Jerome, and Lucy & La Mer with attendees being provided access to the venue’s permanent restrooms and VIP festival goers enjoying an air-conditioned VIP Lounge with DJ, couches, and exclusive brews. Nic Adler, co-organizer for the event since it launched said “For the last six years this festival has always been about drinking the best craft beer, eating LA’s best food, and enjoying hanging with friends while taking in the sounds of great music. It just happens to be vegan.”
