huell howser

Huell Howser was no stranger to San Gabriel Valley. He is pictured here during Arcadia’s Centennial Celebrations talking to my in-laws who lived in Los Osos, a town near San Luis Obispo. He hoped to do a show on the area. When I told him my in-laws lived there he said, “Well Terry, get them on the phone…” I did and sent him a copy of this photo which he duly autographed and sent to my mother-in law, who was thrilled. – Photograph by Terry Miller
